Day 01

Day 02

 

After breakfast transfer to Taj Exotica beach hotel Bentota. Visit www.tajhotels.com. Free day at leisure, Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 03

 

After breakfast  tour to city of Galle lyng within the walls of Galle’s 17th century Dutch Fort – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Galle Fort is a melting pot of cultural influences. Explore the Fort with its narrow streets, well preserved ramparts, the lighthouse, the Dutch Reform Church, and several houses with the typical manor house style architecture with columns, courtyards, and verandas. The thick, high ramparts that protect and distinguish the Fort are today used for romantic evening strolls and convenient viewpoints to catch the sweaty action of local 'village' cricket games and the international games held in the adjacent Galle cricket stadium. Explore boutique shops and hotels, visit art galleries and museums, or just wander around the Fort’s sturdy ramparts and soak up the special atmosphere of a living walled city.  Overnight stay at hotel. Day 04

 

After Breakfast transfer to Oasis hotel  Hambantota.Visit www.oasis/ayurweda.de At leisure on the beach. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 05

 

Early morning safari to Yala National Park.

Yala National Park ,one of Sri Lanka 's premier eco tourism destinations, lies 24km northeast of Tissamaharama and 290km from Colombo on the southeast coast of Sri Lanka , spanning a vast 97,878 hectares over the Southern and Uva Provinces . The vegetation in the park comprises predominantly of semi-arid thorny scrub, interspersed with pockets of fairly dense secondary forest. Small patches of mangrove vegetation also occur along the coastal lagoons.
The park is renowned for the variety of its Wildlife (most notably its many elephants) and its fine coastline (with associated coral reefs). It also boasts a large number of important cultural ruins, bearing testimony to earlier civilizations and indicating that much of the area used to be populated and well developed.

Day 06

 

After breakfast transfer to Colombo Cinnamon Gand hotel. Visit www.cinnamonhotels.com After lunch half a day city tour to Colombo. History of Colombo dates back to 8th century when the Arab traders settled here and Dutch built a fort in the 17th century which gradually gained attention of the subsequent colonial rulers. Rapid urbanisation has removed traces of its’ early history. However some of the early British era buildings still remain in the Fort area. Colombo is Sri Lanka’s largest city, home to around a million people is also one of the busiest ports in the South Asia. Colombo was the capital for over two hundred years until the capital was shifted to nearby Sri Jayawardene Pura, but remains the business centre.

Colombo’s tourist attractions include old churches, temples, the old parliament, Independence Building and the National Museum, The Gallface Green is once a seaside race course now an open-air ground where locals flock for strolls in the evenings.
